Animal Placement Program
All Creatures Sanctuary—Great and Small
1. If you are interested in taking home one of our animals featured below, please call Tish Hennessey at 352-288-6754.
2. A placement mom from the Sanctuary will make a home visit to discuss the visitation process and provide additional information about the placement program, including additional photos of more dogs that are available for a permanent home.
3. A date is then discussed to place a dog in a prospective home on a trial basis (we provide crate, food, leash, and collar). If at the end of the trial period things seem to be satisfactory for the dog and the prospective new owners, then permanent papers will be completed.
No fees involved—only requirement is to love our dogs
Echo
Part Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel
55 lbs • Male – about 2 years old
Echo is a very intelligent boy who is very chatty and has a love of water. He is currently undergoing obedience training and learns quickly. Upon request, his trainer is available to work with new family. He is neutered and updated on his rabies.
ChiSox
Biscoa mix
40-50 lbs • Male – about 1 year old
ChiSox is an adorable, sweet boy. He’s very playful and loves other animals. He is neutered and updated on his rabies. Training is ongoing but he currently comes when you call his name and sits on command. Upon request, the trainer will work with new family.
