REHABILITATION TIPS

Baby Birds

Warmth: Glow of light (not too hot)

Food: Peeping birds, - if they open their mouths - instant baby rice cereal
every 2 hours, softened dry dog food, small pieces of non-citrus
soft fruits. (Grapes, Melons, Peaches etc) 
Daytime only.

NO MILK! NO EARTHWORMS

Security - Cover and keep quiet

LITTLE OR NO TOUCHING!

 
 

Baby Mammals : Eyes closed or just opening

Warmth: Heating pad on low with a layer of rags

Food: Baby rice cereal - puppy or goats milk every two hours

Feed every 2 hours during daylight and twice during the night

Security:  Cover and keep warm and quiet

LITTLE OR NO PETTING OR TOUCHING WILD ONES

No cows milk for baby mammals
